EF Medispa is a chain of high-end aesthetic and cosmetic surgery clinics in the United Kingdom. Founded by the renowned industry expert Esther Fieldgrass in 2006, EF Medispa quickly became a leader in luxury aesthetics and cosmetic surgery. In 2008 when the campaign started EF MEdispa operated one aesthetic clinic in Kensington Church Street.
Challenges
EF Medispa faced significant digital challenges in 2008 that hindered both user experience and business growth. Their website, while custom-built, was rigid and costly to update. This inflexibility resulted in lengthy, confusing menus that complicated navigation. Additionally, key information for potential clients was either absent or poorly positioned, creating friction in the customer journey. Later and as the campaign progressed expansion in new locations became a key focus.
How we did it
The solution
To overcome the website obstacles, we first migrated the website to the WordPress platform, giving the internal team immediate and straightforward control over content updates. Concurrently, we executed a full redesign focused on usability, simplifying navigation and creating a clearer path for users to find treatments and book consultations. This resulted in a growth over the next 9.5 years from one location to six, as we oversaw the successful launch of clinics in London’s St John’s Wood, Chelsea and Canary Wharf, as well as in Bath, and Birmingham.
This foundational overhaul yielded exceptional performance gains. Over the subsequent four years, organic traffic surged by 2000%. Furthermore, the enhanced user experience drove the site’s conversion rate up by 85%, while the efficiency of paid campaigns improved dramatically, with Google Ads Cost-Per-Acquisition decreasing by 91%. And together we won multiple awards in the process (London Lifestyle Awards 2012, Aesthetic Awards 2015, Professional Beauty Awards – Winner 2015, MyFace MyBody Awards – Winner 2015, WhatClinic Customer Service Award 2016, London Lifestyle Awards 2017).
